5K Hope Run/Walk & 1K Fun Run

House of Hope Maryland is proud to sponsor the 2nd Annual 5K Run/Walk and 1K Fun Run. Runners and walkers of all levels of ability are welcome and encouraged to participate. The race course travels through Olney Manor Park and down a scenic country road in Olney, Maryland.
Refreshments, music, and a mini carnival will immediately follow the event. Plan to stay for some family fun!
All proceeds from the race will go directly to fund the development of our program for at-risk adolescents, and toward offsetting the cost of individual and group Christian counseling services now being offered to families. We thank you in advance for making a difference in our community!

Start Times: 5K Run/Walk 8:30a.m., 1K Fun Run 8:35a.m.
Fees: Before October 10, registration fees will be $20 for the 5K and $10 for the 1K. After October10, registration fees will be $25 for the 5K and $12 for the 1K. Race day registration is $35.

In-Person Registration & Packet Pick-up: In-person registration and packet pick-up will be held at Oakdale Emory United Methodist Church on Friday, October 17 from 4p.m.-8p.m. and on race day from 7:00a.m.-8:15a.m.

Awards/Prizes: The 1K Fun Run is a non-competitive race. Each finisher will receive a prize. In the 5K race, awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers overall and to the top male and female finishers in the following categories: 12 years and under, 13-19 years, 20-29 years, 30-39 years, 40-49 years, 50-59 years, 60-69 years, 70 years and over.
